In September, NFMLA will host Film Festival InFocus: Latinx & Hispanic Cinema which will include virtual screenings, filmmaker Q&A’s and industry panels with a focus on world-class stories from the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Spain, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. Submit your short film proposal to shine a light on mental health issues to Art With Impact. Anyone and everyone is welcome to submit a proposal for a short film, within one or both mental health categories for this year: mental health issues specific to Black people, and mental health issues specific to immigration experiences.
